"account": "The Detroit Tigers have extended shortstop John Peck's minor league experience by inviting him to participate in the Arizona Fall League, kicking off this weekend. The 24-year-old, who appeared in 24 games for the Tigers last season with a .168 batting average, is seeking additional opportunities to refine his skills and showcase his abilities. Peck, a right-handed hitter drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 MLB Draft out of Pepperdine, credited his time with the Tigers for his growth, stating, \"I learned so much being around these guys.\" The Tigers' manager, A.J. Hinch, remains confident in Peck's potential, frequently expressing a desire to see the ball hit to him. Peck's limited season, playing only 70 games across Double-A, Triple-A, and the big leagues, has prompted the Tigers to provide him with extra exposure in the Arizona Fall League. This decision aims to gather invaluable data on whether Peck can consistently hit at a level that would allow him to become the team's starting shortstop.",
