"account": "The trailer for Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, released on Thursday, teases unfinished business for Dexter Morgan and hints at his midlife crisis. Over 50 years old, Dexter still feels the pressure of his Dark Passenger as his eyesight deteriorates. In the trailer, he is fitted for glasses by an optometrist, yet he remains determined to settle scores with Charley, played by Uma Thurman, and her old nemesis, the New York Ripper. Alongside Dexter, we see the menacing presence of Don Farman, portrayed by Brian Cox, and the fresh young face of terror, Owen Stark, played by Dan Stevens. Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, set to premiere on Paramount+ on October 30, finds Dexter caught between two formidable killers, one with a long history of crimes and another a new threat terrorizing New York. Meanwhile, Dexter's son Harrison, portrayed by Jack Alcott, continues his own pursuit of justice. The trailer also highlights Dexter's struggle with a midlife crisis, as he faces his darkest chapter yet alongside his father. The series, which stars Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, and other returning cast members, also welcomes new talent such as Brian Cox, Dan Stevens, Nona Parker Johnson, Bokeem Woodbine, and Gabriel Luna, who makes a guest appearance.",
