"account": "Samsung has reportedly announced a launch for its first Android XR smart glasses in November 2026, according to a \"Samsung official\" cited by the Korea Herald. The specific release date and whether there will be a full launch event for the glasses were not disclosed in the report. The initial models are expected to be display-less, similar to Meta's Ray-Ban glasses, and will include a camera. Samsung has showcased these prototypes throughout 2026, notably during its Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch event in July when designs from Warby Parker and Gentle Monster were presented. Additionally, it has been stated that Samsung aims to create glasses that are up to 5 grams lighter than Meta's base Ray-Ban model, which weighs 51 grams.",
