"account": "PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has devoted his time this week to finalising the 2027 Budget, cancelling numerous events to concentrate on the task at hand. Anwar made an exception for the National Student Icon Award 2026, recognizing the importance of the event connecting student leaders. He cancelled all programs over the weekend, including the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, as Malaysia is co-hosting the race. During this period, Anwar met with Higher Education Minister Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and Deputy Minister Adam Adli at the National Student Icon Award 2026. The government faces a complex task when creating the budget, considering demands from various sectors, ministries, and states, according to Anwar. The budget must address the needs of diverse communities, including farmers, fishermen, indigenous groups, and technology sectors. Anwar highlighted the need to address procurement and operating cost pressures for small businesses amid global supply disruptions. The 2027 Budget will be presented in the Dewan Rakyat on Oct 9.",
