"summary": "A man wanted in an attempted murder investigation in Brampton, Ontario, has been arrested in northern Manitoba three years after an arrest warrant was issued. The global news outlet reports that the investigation began on February 3, 2022, when officers responded to a shooting near Queen Street East and Rutherford Road in Brampton, where a man was found with gunshot wounds, suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. On May 8, 2023, investigators executed search warrants at multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area, seizing five firearms, approximately 10 kilograms of methamphetamine, and significant quantities of fentanyl and cocaine. The arrest warrant for 36-year-old Nakeem Jamar Johnson was issued on the same day. Johnson was arrested on September 22, 2023, in Cross Lake, Manitoba, located about 530 kilometers north of Winnipeg.",
