"account": "Maema Njongmeta has returned to the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, rejoining the team on their practice squad. According to ESPN's Mike Kaye, the third-year linebacker was waived from the active roster on Tuesday to make room for offensive lineman Torricelli Simpkins III. Hailing from Ngaoundéré, Cameroon, and a product of the University of Wisconsin, Njongmeta made his NFL debut as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024. He played in all 17 games that season, including a start, before being signed by the Panthers off the Bengals' practice squad in September of 2025. During his time with the Panthers, Njongmeta appeared in 15 games, with 234 of his 239 snaps coming on special teams. He made an impact in his lone regular season appearance, forcing a fumble on the second half's opening kickoff during the Panthers' Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns.",
