"account": "Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max series are proving to be a hit in China, according to a new market intelligence report. Counterpoint Research, a leading market research firm, attributes the success of Apple's latest iPhone models to three key factors. The first reason is the delayed launch of the base iPhone 18, which has led some consumers to upgrade to the more premium iPhone 18 Pro models instead of waiting for the cheaper version. The second reason is the rising prices of all premium smartphones, which has made the iPhone 18 Pro more affordable compared to its competitors. Finally, Apple's aggressive channel support, including heavy advertising and promotions from retailers and carriers, has contributed to the iPhone 18 Pro's popularity in the Chinese market. Despite overall smartphone sales in China declining by 17% year-on-year since July, the iPhone 18 Pro series experienced a 12% year-on-year growth during its first three days of sales, helping Apple secure the top spot in smartphone sales in Week 38.",
