"account": "NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov, donned their SpaceX spacesuits for the upcoming launch of Crew-13 to the International Space Station on October 1, 2026. A team of SpaceX suit technicians assisted the crew members as they checked for leaks and ensured each suit's functionality and safety features.\n\nThe updated inflight spacesuits, first utilized by a NASA astronaut on the Crew-11 mission, feature a spiral zipper on the torso and an adjustable design that can expand by more than 14 inches, accommodating a range of body types. The suits are equipped with touchscreen-compatible gloves and a flame-resistant outer layer to protect the crew from potential cabin depressurization.\n\nThough Watkins has previously flown on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, this will be her first time wearing the updated suit. The latest design removes the inseam zipper, making the suit easier to put on and take off. The U.S. Space Force 45th Weather Squadron currently predicts a 40% chance of favorable conditions at the launch pad for liftoff, with updates on today's milestones available on the mission blog, @NASAKennedy on X, and NASA Kennedy on Facebook.",
