"account": "A fire ignited at the North Industrial Area in Accra has led to a power outage impacting multiple communities, reports the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). An official statement issued on Thursday, October 1, revealed that the blaze, near Substation 'D' at Avenor, prompted the outage. The affected zones comprise North Industrial Area, North Kaneshie, Tesano, Abeka Junction, Peace FM, Santana Market, and Alajo Junction, along with nearby neighborhoods.\n\nECG's Accra West Region notified customers and the public that the electricity disruption stemmed from the intense fire at the industrial area. The company declared its technical teams were on-site, striving to rectify the fault and restore power. However, no specific timeframe was provided for when electricity would be fully restored across all regions.\n\nThe fire, situated near the Avenor substation, has left customers and businesses in several parts of Accra West without electricity. ECG issued an appeal for patience, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused and requesting understanding as repair and restoration work progressed. The company urged affected residents and businesses to wait for further updates on the restoration process.",
