"account": "IPOH: Perak police have gathered statements from nine individuals, including the victim, in their investigation of a shooting that occurred at a petrol station in Bidor Sentral last Tuesday. Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin revealed that the statement takers comprised the victim's three family members present in his vehicle, two people from a nearby vehicle, and staff from the petrol station. The victim, who is now stable after receiving treatment and undergoing surgery at Seri Botani Hospital, sustained a single gunshot wound to his left shoulder. Police are currently investigating various aspects of the incident, including the motive, which remains unidentified. The chief stated that police suspect three individuals were involved, with one being a driver and the vehicle used by the suspects believed to have a fake registration number. CCTV footage from the petrol station captured the victim being shot from two angles, both front and right side. Police have also examined CCTV footage from toll plazas and other locations, but none showed the victim exiting the toll. The investigation is ongoing, with police exploring the possibility that the victim may have been followed, as indicated by the rapid movement of the suspects' vehicle, which stopped in front of the victim's vehicle and opened fire. The victim's occupation as a businessman, owning multiple businesses in Bidor, Sungai Siput, and Tapah, is also under scrutiny.",
