"account": "KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 — Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has temporarily halted the Songkhla Export Pipeline in Thailand following a concern detected during a routine inspection. The pipeline, overseen by Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Ltd (TTM), a partnership between Thailand’s PTT Public Co Ltd and Petronas, is being shut down as a preventive measure to safeguard the pipeline's integrity and maintain safe operations. In a recent statement, the national oil and gas company acknowledged the potential disruption to gas supply for customers in both Malaysia and Thailand. However, Petronas emphasized that they are employing proactive steps to ensure uninterrupted service for customers in Malaysia. The company's integrated supply network offers flexibility to maintain supply continuity, and they are collaborating closely with partners and customers to ensure system stability. Petronas stated that the pipeline will only be brought back online once safety has been confirmed. The company reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards and operational integrity while ensuring reliable supply to support Malaysia's energy security.",
