"account": "The 475th Assault Regiment in Ukraine has devised a new strategy to defend against Russian drone attacks on their tanks. During a recent mission, two heavily armored tanks were accompanied by three types of drones - a surveillance drone, a bomber drone, and an FPV drone. These drones patrolled ahead of the tanks and protected them from incoming threats as they approached a potential infiltration point near the Russian border in Vilkhuvatka. Despite taking hits from Russian drones and mines, the tanks managed to reach their objective and fire upon the enemy before withdrawing. This innovative approach of combining tanks with unmanned aerial vehicles has proven effective in the \"gray zone\" where drones and mines pose a significant threat to ground forces. The 475th Assault Regiment is now exploring the integration of mixed formations of drones and tanks, with the understanding that while tanks are still capable of fighting and winning, they require the support of drones to survive in the current battlefield conditions.",
"summary": "The 475th Assault Regiment, short of infantry, was clearing Russian infiltrators out of Vilkhuvatka, a Kharkiv Oblast village 9 km from the Russian border, and its hedgehog tanks took repeated hits on the way to point-blank range.",
