"account": "In the recent Asian Games semi-finals, top seed Alexandra Eala of the Philippines was unable to secure a victory as she was defeated by China's Wang Xiyu in the third round of the singles competition. Eala, who had skipped the China Open to participate in Nagoya, aimed to make history as the first female athlete from the Philippines to clinch the title. Regrettably, her quest for gold came to an end with a narrow 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 loss to Wang, who is currently ranked 85th in the world. Despite her setback, Eala will be returning home with a bronze medal after claiming it in the doubles competition with her partner, Shaira Rivera, who unfortunately also exited the tournament in the second round. Earlier, Eala had shown remarkable form, leading the first set 5-0 before Wang's resiliency enabled her to equalize the match in the second set. Regrettably, Eala was unable to mount a comeback as Wang clinched the victory and advanced to face Zhang Shuai in the all-Chinese final. Eala's career reached a significant milestone last month when she claimed her first WTA Tour title, a feat that has earned her immense popularity in the Philippines, where her matches have drawn massive crowds of enthusiastic supporters.",
