"account": "Samsung Electronics has increased the prices of its flagship Galaxy S26 smartphones due to soaring memory chip costs, according to Yonhap news agency. The domestic price of the base model was raised by 149,600 won to 1,403,600 won, equivalent to $1,029.94. Prices for other models were also increased by the same amount, with the exception of the S26 Ultra 1TB model, which saw a price hike of 270,000 won to 2,821,500 won. The Galaxy S26 smartphones were initially launched in March with higher prices in the US and South Korea, as the company aimed to gauge demand amid the impact of rising chip prices on profit margins.",
