"summary": "University Librarians Ghana (ULG) honored four former executives who served as leaders during the organization's most recent period of growth and change. Dr Hawa Osman, Dr Mac Anthony Cobblah, Dr Theresa L. Adu, and Dr Gloria Bosomtwi Amoah each held the position of Secretary or Chairman between 2018 and 2025. Their contributions were formally recognized during the 42nd Annual General Meeting and Conference of ULG, which took place in Kumasi from 30 September to 1 October 2026. The conference brought together university librarians, researchers, and higher-education leaders to discuss how academic libraries can remain relevant as the higher-education landscape evolves, with a focus on open access, research communication, and widening public access to knowledge.",
