"account": "The New York Giants have signed free agent linebacker and defensive end Jihad Ward, who was previously on the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. According to @TomPelissero, the Giants made the move to bolster their defensive line. Ward had previously played for the Giants from 2022 to 2023, recording a total of 8 sacks over 20 starts during that time. Notably, Ward was part of the Titans' defense under coach Dennard Wilson last season. This signing comes at a crucial time for the Giants, as Pro Bowl linebacker Brian Burns will be out for the season after tearing his ACL. Ward's return strengthens the Giants' roster, marking his second tenure with the team from 2022 to 2023.",
