"account": "A seven-year-old Canon EOS 90D DSLR camera, equipped with a Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD lens, captured a flock of brown pelicans frolicking on the iconic Oregon beach of Cannon Beach, according to photographer Erich Podbielski. Despite modern wildlife photographers typically opting for mirrorless cameras, Podbielski's image earned an honorable mention in the 2026 Audubon Photography Awards' \"Birds Without Borders\" category. The event, organized by the National Audubon Society, celebrates exceptional bird photography and emphasizes the beauty and challenges facing avian species. Podbielski, who visited the beach a year after his honeymoon, described the experience as mesmerizing and emphasized the connection between people and birds sharing the shoreline. The judges appreciated how the photograph showcased the movements of migratory species and connected habitats. Grand Winner Jacqueline Burke captured a roseate spoonbill at an alligator farm in Florida.",
