"account": "The 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to commence around March 19, with the final match scheduled for May 2, according to a tentative schedule recently revealed. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has tentatively agreed to this timeline, albeit pending confirmation from the franchise owners. While the broadcaster had initially advocated for a January start to boost sponsorships, the franchise owners favored an April commencement. Ramadan is anticipated to begin on February 8, meaning the PSL 12 will commence post-Eid. The league will again coincide with the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is slated to run from March 10 to May 15. Despite past overlaps not causing significant issues, Pakistani fans are expected to give precedence to the domestic league, with TV ratings remaining stable. The PCB is optimistic that this pattern will continue. Numerous overseas players not part of the IPL are also likely to participate in PSL 12. The player auction date remains undecided, though some franchises have already initiated contacts with foreign players. Several high-profile players may make their PSL debut next season. Preparation is currently at a slower pace but is expected to intensify following the official announcement of the schedule. The specific venues and logistical arrangements are anticipated to be finalized in the coming weeks.",
