"account": "Chargers safety Derwin James Jr. has revealed that he will not be wearing a cast on his fractured left pinky finger during this week's games. Despite breaking the finger during the Week 2 loss to the Raiders, James has managed to play in the past two matches with the injured hand. Last week, he had practiced with the cast on and continued playing with it on as well. However, he was only a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a lingering hamstring injury.\n\nThis is not Derwin James' best start to the season. As of the first three games, he has only managed to record 21 total tackles and one pass defended. Yet, the Chargers defense and their star safety seem to be on the rise, having put up their best performance of the season in a recent loss. The unit, led by James, will look to capitalize on this momentum in their upcoming Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.",
