"account": "A Singaporean woman, Olivia Chin Hui Zhen, pleaded guilty to her role in a conspiracy to cheat unsuspecting victims out of money using rigged mahjong games. The mastermind behind the scheme, Marcus Ang Yi Sheng, created fake dating profiles on dating apps like OkCupid and Tinder to lure potential victims. Once a victim agreed to play, a pre-trained group of four players would take part in the game, with Ang directing one of them to pose as the woman chatting with the victim and host the game. The group, which included Chin, arranged and played 28 games between April and June 2024, earning over S$100,000 in total. Chin, the host and player, received a sentence of eight months in jail and a fine of S$3,000 for her involvement in four conspiracy charges and one unlawful gambling charge.",
