"summary": "Nicolas Cage has expressed his thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, likening it to a \"well-funded and glorified WWE.\" He made these comments at Fan Expo Dallas, according to Variety and IGN. Cage stated that he loves the MCU, but believes it has become too focused on action, with many gifted actors wearing \"ridiculous outfits\" and preparing for fight scenes.\n\nCage's critique has gained traction on social media, with some people agreeing with him and others questioning his perspective given his own involvement in comic book projects, as reported by Variety. IGN notes that Cage has starred in several comic book movies and TV shows, including Ghost Rider, Kick-Ass, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where he voiced Spider-Man Noir.\n\nCage expressed a desire to see the MCU return to telling stories rather than just focusing on action sequences, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. He made these comments in the context of his recent role in Prime Video's Spider-Noir.",
