"account": "On Wednesday, the Senate approved President Donald Trump's choice to head the Department of Labor, with a vote of 47-41. Keith Sonderling, nominated to replace Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who resigned amid allegations of abuse of power, was confirmed. Sonderling, who has been acting secretary since April, has a long tenure with the department, including serving as a Republican member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and teaching at George Washington University. Democrats opposed his confirmation due to concerns about the administration's policies, particularly regarding worker protections and union support.",
