"account": "The No. 8 New York Liberty stunned the No. 1 seed Minnesota Lynx in a first round best-of-three series, sweeping the series in just three games. This marks the first time in WNBA playoff history that a team has done such a thing against a No. 1 seed. Leading the charge for New York was star player Sabrina Ionescu, who contributed 18 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds in the pivotal Game 2 win against the Lynx. Ionescu, who helped secure the team's first and only WNBA title in 2024, wasn't taken aback by the upset. She told Yahoo! Sports that her team knew they weren't the typical eight seed and that they had to approach the playoffs as a new season, ready to step up their game. The Barclays Center's crowd undoubtedly contributed to their success in this game. Looking ahead, the Liberty is focused on winning another championship, as Ionescu stated, \"To do whatever it takes to win, no matter what.\" The team will be aiming to limit stars like Minnesota Lynx's Olivia Miles to 11 points in the upcoming semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Atlanta Dream–Washington Mystics series. The Dream's Angel Reese and Washington's defensive duo, Kiki Iriafen and Shakira Austin, pose significant challenges for the Liberty.",
