"account": "Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the $16 billion Dangote East Africa Refinery in Lamu County, Kenya. Dignitaries present included Benin's Romuald Wadagni, Togo's Jean-Lucien Savi de Tové, and Ethiopia's Abiy Ahmed Ali. Kenyan President William Ruto highlighted that the refinery would process 700,000 barrels of crude oil daily, transforming Lamu into an energy and industrial hub. The project, valued at KSh2.2 trillion, comprises a 1,000MW power plant, a plastic factory, and the production of fertilizers and chemicals. Despite a court's mandated suspension of construction due to a \"forceful eviction\" case, the Dangote Group stated that the event would proceed. Dangote expressed confidence in the project's success, challenging those behind the court cases and vowing readiness to confront any troublemakers.",
