"summary": "The Guardian US reports that Elon Musk has been appointed to co-lead a US government taskforce on the future of warfare, known as Project Meridian. This comes a year after Musk's brief tenure at Doge, a project under the Trump administration. Musk will be joined by Palmer Luckey, CEO of defense tech company Anduril, and Newt Gingrich, the former Republican speaker of the House. The 120-day project aims to identify the capabilities required for technological dominance on the next-generation battlefield, with the goal of producing an unclassified public report of its recommendations.",
