"account": "Neon revealed on Wednesday that it will be developing and producing a feature film based on the SCP Foundation, an open-source online horror project. The anthology movie is set to release in 2027 and will focus on \"emerging filmmakers.\" SCP Foundation, which began in 2008, is a community-driven online horror project with a vast array of lore and characters. The project's website, SCP Wiki, features thousands of contributors and has inspired various media, including short films, web series, and games. However, despite A24's announcement of their own SCP-based film titled \"V/H/S: SCP,\" Neon has stated that they have been in contact with the SCP Foundation team to ensure the film adheres to the project's mission and licensing guidelines. Neon is committed to releasing the film under the Creative Commons license CC BY-SA. This development adds to the growing trend of online horror and creepypasta being adapted into films, following the success of A24's \"Backrooms\" adaptation.",
